Benelux Tek Group Inc. (Aerospace Division) is currently seeking highly skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician for one of its clients in Lincoln Nebraska.
Position Title: Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician
Location: Lincoln (Nebraska)
Contract Type: Full Time 03 Months (Leading to Permanent Position)
Benefit: $5000 (Relocation Reimbursement )
Job Overview: Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician inspects mechanical hydraulic and structural systems and diagnoses malfunctions. Aircraft maintenance technicians also ensure compliance with aviation safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance work on company Embraer ERJ145 aircraft at our maintenance bases including but not limited to dismantling overhauling repairing assembling all aircraft parts and components
- Perform routine releases returning aircraft to service
- Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company manufacturer and FAA requirements
- Maintain work area tools and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions
- Collaborate with appropriate Inspection personnel (RII)
- Ensure hazardous materials storage is frequently inspected and ensure proper labeling containers and location in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of four (4) years recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid unrestricted driver s license
- Good driving record and ability to drive tugs trucks and hangar equipment; taxi aircraft; alert to moving vehicles and aircraft
- Valid US passport (or foreign passport with documented work authorization in the US)
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Good communication skills (verbal written and radio)
- Positive attitude towards productivity safety and quality maintenance
- Available to work shifts and overtime if necessary
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs bend stoop crawl and kneel frequently in confined spaces
- Must have own set of tools.
Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
