Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Fairmont Travel & Tourism. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable. They will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus
