Position Summary:

Our esteemed client is a leading mechanical Construction firm based in Qatar specializing in Oil and Gas Petrochemicals and Utilities Industries solutions for the Oil & Gas Sectors. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in cost control within the EPC and Oil & Gas sectors and proficiency in cost control cost estimation techniques and financial reporting for largescale EPC projects. Relevant certifications in cost control and project management are highly preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize industrystandard cost control tools and techniques to track and manage project expenditures.

Create and implement cost control procedures and best practices.

Conduct financial analyses to support decisionmaking processes including costbenefit analyses financial forecasting and scenario planning.

Communicate project financial status including budget updates cost forecasts and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.

Be the main point of contact for clients subcontractors and internal teams regarding costrelated issues.

Facilitate clear communication to ensure that all parties are aligned and informed.

Manage control and maintain costs associated with the design installation and inspection of piping systems.

Ensure that all piping solutions are costeffective and meet project specifications.

Provide cost control and analysis for mechanical engineering aspects of projects including the design installation and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Work on the financial management practices and make sure they align with EPC project requirements and Oil & Gas industry standards aiming for cost efficiency and effective resource utilization.

Apply knowledge of EPC project management and Oil & Gas industry practices to oversee cost control activities for engineering procurement construction and commissioning phases.

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals including the development of detailed cost breakdowns project budgets and financial analyses for client presentations.

Develop accurate cost estimates for EPC and Oil & Gas projects including scope definition technical specifications and risk assessments.

Create manage and monitor project budgets ensuring that all expenditures align with the financial plan. Track and report on cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Finance Accounting or a related field.

Minimum 10 15 years of experience in cost control within the EPC and Oil & Gas sectors with significant experience in mechanical and piping systems.

Relevant certifications in cost control project management or financial analysis are highly preferable.

Proficient in cost control methodologies cost estimation techniques and financial reporting for largescale projects.
