Senior Finance Executive

We are looking for a Short-Term employee to take on the role of Senior Finance Executive in Jotun Qatar for a period of 8 months with a potential to be full time role. As a Senior Finance Executive, you will support the Finance function by using financial data to analyze, interpret, evaluate, and report financial status and performance of the organization to ensure correct basis for required company reporting as well as prioritizing initiatives and right decisions. This position will be based in Doha, Qatar and will be reporting to the Finance Manager. Responsibilities: • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis of managers’ requirements, analyze and interpret data, and provide relevant reports to ensure reliable information for monitoring and decision-making • Prepare and maintain a sustainable financial reporting process with an analysis of key financial information in order to support management in making well-informed decisions. • Conduct analysis on past and future performance by use of models to be able to provide value-adding analyzed information to reported figures. • Perform cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts to improve the status, and ensuring proper stock control procedures. • Support the finance team by coordinating relevant schedules related to financial reporting to generate accurate reports and data. • Support the implementation of new tools and techniques to improve the financial reporting routines. • Ensure sound internal controls and conduct spot checks. • Perform assigned tasks as required across the Finance function (e.g. accounting tasks, credit control etc.) • Develop and create reports using Power BI from various systems and other data sources to create financial reports regularly and on demand. • Develop automation tools with the help of IT team to improve the efficiency of the finance and operational systems. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER What we are looking for: • Holder of bachelor’s degree or Higher. • Strong English communication skills. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field. • High Level MS Office Skills (Excel and PowerPoint) • Work Experience in Power BI
