Business Development Manager North East up to 40000


Company Summary

This organization is a wellestablished independent training provider based in the NorthEast of England. They are an OfstedGOOD provider and ESFAcompliant offering programs designed to enhance the skills of the workforce and support the unemployed in reaching their potential. The provider delivers a wide range of courses through various provisions including AEB Traineeships Learner Loans ESF and is currently listed on RoATP.

Purpose

As a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager your role will be to expand the business across all funding streams including Learner Loans AEB Apprenticeships and Traineeships. You will collaborate closely with the SMT/SLT to meet performance and financial KPIs while building excellent relationships with stakeholders employers and referral agencies. Your efforts will contribute to increasing our organizations footprint within the North East.

You will lead the recruitment for all funded contracts and be responsible for initiating learner starts and achieving outcomes for learners. Employer engagement will be a key aspect of your role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop partnerships with stakeholders employers and referral agencies.
  • Lead a team of recruiters to promote opportunities through job boards and other relevant portals.
  • Create and implement recruitment strategies across your team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team.
  • Produce reports for the SLT/SMT to illustrate pipeline learners.
  • Attend networking events.
  • Provide effective and timely career employment and progression advice and guidance.
  • Attend open days enrolment events and meet with external agencies as needed.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities as required.
  • Stay uptodate with the company s curriculum offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development.
  • Strong sales techniques.
  • Good understanding of working within further education.
  • Sound understanding of funding rules.
