Business Systems Analyst

Our client has embarked on a Digital Enterprise transformation and their corporate team will evolve as they move through the transformation. As a Business Systems Analyst you will play a crucial role in translating business needs into technical solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements analyze business processes and ensure the successful implementation of applications and systems. As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact drive innovation and contribute to the growth of the organization.

Hourly salary of $57.14 to $66.00 based on experience.
6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

Provide daytoday production operations support for our ThirdParty Risk Management (TPRM) solution.
Take ownership of TPRM support issues through to resolution.
Collaborate with TPRM project teams to ensure minimal impact on daytoday TPRM operations.
Develop clear documentation that accurately captures requirements to meet business needs.
Leverage requirements gathering and analysis methods to develop highquality requirements.
Communicate effectively confidently and coherently with business and technology teams.
Coordinate estimates and provide them to business for approval on small to medium initiatives.
Conduct testing prior to implementation.
Perform gap analysis risk assessments and requirements validation.
Collaborate to define and prioritize requirements and ensure alignment with objectives.
Participate in Agile processes including planning standups and reviews.
Apply Agile tools such as user stories and acceptance criteria.
Gather and analyze information to identify options to resolve issues.
Ensure that potentially impactful issues are clearly communicated and promptly escalated appropriately.
Document processes and provide peer training that supports horizontal team strength.
Partner with vendors as needed.
Triage requests gather estimates for new initiatives and identify gaps.
Review designs test strategies and test plans.
Implement continual improvement initiatives.

What you will need to succeed:

35 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related field.
Proven experience in requirement elicitation.
Expertise in creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
Strong collaboration skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies and a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of the financial services industry and business processes.
Experience with ServiceNow Jira Confluence SharePoint (preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Visio and Project.
Understanding of privacy compliance security and control.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work with complex systems and processes.
Excellent communication skills that enable you to explain business and technical concepts.
Ability to listen to clients and understand their needs.
Effective collaboration skills that contribute to the creation of innovative solutions.
Openness to listening and collaborating respectfully.
Ability to manage competing demands and adapt to change quickly.
Ability to work in crossfunctional Agile teams.
