Database Developer

Job Summary:

The Database Developer will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining database solutions that support our business applications and data needs. This role requires expertise in database design development optimization and troubleshooting as well as the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop database solutions to store and retrieve company data efficiently.
• Create database schemas tables views and functions based on project requirements.
• Optimize database performance through indexing query optimization and database tuning.
• Implement data security and integrity measures to protect sensitive information.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through data cleansing and validation processes.
• Collaborate with software developers and IT teams to integrate databases with applications.
• Perform database migrations upgrades and backups as required.
• Troubleshoot databaserelated issues and provide timely resolution.
• Document database architecture processes and procedures.
• Stay informed about database trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Database Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle or SQL Server.
• Strong SQL programming skills and experience with stored procedures triggers and functions.
• Experience with database design principles data modeling and normalization.
• Knowledge of database performance monitoring and tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and tools.
• Experience with database security and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
