Registered Massage Therapist

We are currently seeking applicants for a Registered Massage Therapist (minimum 2200hr) position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application if you are interested.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients health histories and conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
2. Massage Therapy: Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage deep tissue massage sports massage and other therapeutic modalities based on clients needs and preferences.
3. Treatment Planning: Design and modify treatment plans to address clients specific goals such as pain relief injury rehabilitation stress reduction and relaxation.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed client records including treatment notes progress reports and recommendations for further sessions.
5. Client Education: Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy selfcare techniques and home exercises to support their treatment outcomes.
6. Collaboration: Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive and integrated client care.
7. Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols including maintaining cleanliness of treatment rooms and following infection control procedures.
8. Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and best practices through continuing education and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized Massage Therapy program and current registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Alberta.
• Minimum of 6 months 1 year of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and pathology related to massage therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a clientcentered approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
