Cost Analyst

In this role you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing the performance of short and longterm projects. You will be working closely with program managers and other internal/external stakeholders to optimize program budgeting and identify potential risks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Budgeting tracking and forecasting of short and long term projects
• Project costing and pricing support for new business
• Customer and IRAD projects financial progress reporting
• Bookings billings and revenue forecasting
• Gross margin reports and analysis on projects
• Identify and assess project financial risks
• Budget variance analysis and corrective recommendations
• Project cash flow projections
• Inventory tracking on projects
• Develop and implement financial models project cost controls and ROI analysis
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support
• Any other jobrelated issues as required by the business and management
• Monitor industry trends and economic factors to determine potential impacts on project costs

Requirements :

Recommended Experience/Education:

• Min 2 years of FP&A/programs experience
• BA/BS degree in Business Finance Accounting Economics or related quantitative majors
• Experience in costing NRE in the Military and/or Space industry
• Manufacturing and BOM Costing experience

Recommended Skills/Requirements:

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to create complex financial models and reports
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
• Must have advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Midsize ERP Systems
• Must have advanced knowledge of dynamic array formulas in MS Excel
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to multitask prioritize and organize efficiently
• DetailOriented skills
• Can display a positive attitude in discussion including if there are conflicts
