Head of Accounting Controlling mfd

Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the accounting and controlling functions
• Lead and develop the accounting and controlling team
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions and reports
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic business decisions
• Implement and optimize financial processes and systems
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with national accounting standards
• Collaborate with auditors as well as tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations and internal policies
• Support project financing and interact with investors and banks

Requirements

• Experience:
• 5 years of experience in accounting and controlling ideally in the renewable energy project development space
• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field or equivalent qualification
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting and controlling.
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in creating and maintaining financial models.
• Structured and precise working style with great attention to detail.
• High sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English both written and spoken.
• Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
