Position Summary:

Our esteemed client is a leading mechanical Construction firm based in Qatar specializing in Oil and Gas Petrochemicals and Utilities Industries solutions for the Oil & Gas Sectors. We are looking for a Planning Engineer who worked with a large EPC Company / Contractor as part of one of their team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development implementation and management of comprehensive planning forecasting and budgeting systems

Create and manage thorough efficient planning forecasting and budgeting procedures.

Developing and keeping uptodate master schedules and project status reports for senior project management and client review.

Preparing updating and maintaining project control procedures and project planning packages for assigned projects.

Integrating resources and costs into schedules for budgets expenditure and resource analysis.

Ensuring projects are executed within the contractual duration and allowed budgets and identify/issue potential variations to the Client.

Examining and approving EPC contractors Subcontractors Vendors Project Control deliverables including project schedules progress measurements system reporting requirements etc.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor s degree in engineering

15 years of experience in engineering experience in Primavera P6 EPC and construction compulsory.

Strong knowledge of Excel PowerPoint and Word

Strong experience in EPIC projects (Engineering Procurement Installation and Commissioning).

Experience in the application of Primavera P6.
