Company Description
Microfund for Women (MFW) is Jordan's first and largest non-profit microfinance institution (MFI). The organization is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on women, through a range of financial and non-financial services. MFW's services are designed to support businesses and livelihoods, contributing to financial inclusion in the region.
Role Description
This is a full-time role as an Operational Risk Officer at Microfund for Women. The Operational Risk Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with managing and mitigating operational risks within the organization. This includes assessing operational risks, implementing risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. The role will be based on-site in Amman.
Qualifications
- Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
- Analytical Skills and Operations Management skills
- Finance knowledge and experience
- Experience in risk management or related field
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
