Sr Linux Engineer -Hybrid Alabang- Up To 80K

We are looking for Sr Linux Engineer for our client located in Alabang

Salary: Up to 80K

Setup: Hybrid

Requirements:

• Senior Level 57 years level experience and hands on Linux administrations
• Done upgrades and design upgrades
• Linux patching manual and automated
• Automation expert like Bash and Ansible is required
• Cloud Technology is required
• Container technology is a plus but not required
• Manage projects with Linux administration skills needed.

Additional Requirements:

1. Experience of Thin/Zero Client architecture
2. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture
3. Experience with Linux Kernel internals
4. Other UNIX/UNIXlike OS experience
5. Experience of supporting UNIX/Linux systems running SAP
6. Knowledge working within ITIL framework.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain under operational conditions the current Essilor Luxottica retail systems in the Asia Pacific and associated hardware solutions in respect of the Support processes.
2. Build deploy and administer/manage new systems predominantly Linuxbased
3. Proactive in ensuring stability response time operational consistency and life cycle over the platforms.
4. Contribute to continuousimprovement cycle for all functional/operational matters relating to all Linux platforms.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Contribute to search and qualification to new solutions
2. Provide monthly reports on activity quality and performance of the platforms
3. Ensure appropriate documentation including procedures for lower levels of support
