WRK digital are proud to be working with one of the top 3 companies within the UK's Financial Services sector as we shortlist for a Senior React Native Developer to join their Software Engineering team. The business is a Microsoft Certified Partner and winner of The Times "Best Companies to Work For" recently.

They are going through a company wide tech scale up, including a full website rebuild and an investment in new mobile applications. There is huge forward momentum here at the moment and it's a great time to join.

The Team

You will work as part of a dedicated squad producing accessible and responsive Frontend apps as part of a wider cross-functional engineering team, who love to experiment and play around with the tools, techniques, and technologies. The team are working on some existing applications using Typescript with React / Next.JS as well as dedicated mobile apps using React Native. Integrating with cloud services and backend systems, APIS and more.

Required Skills & Experience

- React Native (bare CLI)
- Experience developing native modules for React Native
- Experience with native platform development
- React server components and client components
- Modern advanced TypeScript
- Experience with CSS (modern features) and React Native's styling system
- Experience working with Atomic Design and similar patterns, and Storybook
- Experience Testing with Jest, Jest snapshot testing, and unit testing in general
- Version control (Git)
- Experience or understanding of working in Azure DevOps
- Experience with CI/CD, linting, code reviews, and other development best practices
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services
- Ability to self-motivate and to work well within a team environment
- Ability to promote innovation in self and others.

The Package

The working arrangements are 2 days per month from their HQ in North Yorkshire, offering 25 days holiday + bank holidays. They are paying up to 60k with an 8% bonus on top of that. The package includes an 8% pension contribution as well as private medical cover. They are also dedicated to the learning and development of their employees, so have a dedicated L&D budget.
