Job Opportunity: Accountant for a Leading IFA Practice

Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in producing SelfAssessment tax returns for individuals and companies Management Accounts and other financial accounts procedures. Full training and study support will be provided with the goal of becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts

Statutory accounts

Selfassessment tax returns

Limited Company Tax Returns

Commission Reconciliation

Invoicing and Credit Control

Long lease property administration (preparing accounts issuing maintenance and ground rent invoices)

Analyzing and reconciling expenses and receipts

Producing KPIs for the company and advisers

Producing documents/KPIs for regulatory returns

Providing treasurer services to local charities

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified or partqualified accountant with experience in dealing with Personal Tax. Additionally candidates should possess the following qualities:

Highly organized with efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workloads

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Computer literate with proficiency in Advanced Excel Word and Outlook

Strong attention to detail

Previous experience working with Xero is preferred but not essential
