Responsibilities
As a Permanent Accountant, your responsibilities will include
- Managing the general ledger and performing account reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Utilizing MS Office, particularly Excel, to streamline and automate processes.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather information and resolve accounting issues.
- Participating in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Providing support for internal and external audits.
- Assisting with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Accountant position should have the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Proficient with MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
