Role: Senior Python Developer

Location: Plano TX Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Develop test and maintain highquality performant Python code for PepsiCo Application integrations.
• Design and implement robust scalable and maintainable software.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs and integrate frontend Web and Mobile applications.
• Implement security best practices including authentication authorization and data encryption.
• Automate tasks and workflows using scripting and DevOps tools.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases using ORMs like SQLAlchemy.
• Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure high code quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation using SwaggerHub.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the teams continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Proficiency in data structures algorithms and objectoriented programming.
• Advanced knowledge of functional programming decorators and generators.
• Expertise in data analysis machine learning and related libraries.
• Experience with DevOps tools CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and ORMs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferable).
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Familiarity with code quality tools and best practices (PEP8 linters formatters).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience in developing and deploying mobile applications.
