Malander is seeking an experienced Recruitment Lead for a client based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate would be required to have extensive experience in the renewables industry and be based in Cape Town.
Key responsibilities: - Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business needs;
- Lead and mentor the recruitment team ensuring hiring goals are met;
- Utilise various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates;
- Maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs;
- Create and post compelling job descriptions on appropriate platforms;
- Manage recruitment advertising campaigns to attract a diverse pool of candidates;
- Review applications and conduct initial interviews;
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders;
- Standardise and oversee the interview process training hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques;
- Collaborate with hiring managers to extend job offers and negotiate terms;
- Ensure alignment of job offers with company policies and budget;
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires;
- Work with HR and other departments to provide necessary training and resources for new employees;
- Track and analyse recruitment metrics such as timetofill costperhire and quality of hire;
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on recruitment performance and challenges;
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations;
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes;
- Promote the company as an employer of choice at job fairs career events and networking opportunities;
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors;
- Negotiate contracts with recruitment agencies and monitor their performance;
- Enhance the company’s visibility and employer branding.
Requirements: - Proven experience in the renewables industry;
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines;
- Experience in managing and leading a recruitment team;
- Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and recruitment strategies;
