Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control BMS systems to ensure efficient operation of building systems including HVAC lighting and security systems.
- Identify diagnose and rectify faults within the BMS to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of BMS hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality.
- Optimize energy usage within the building by adjusting system settings and schedules based on occupancy and usage patterns.
- Generate and analyze system reports to track performance identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies implementing corrective actions to maintain building safety and functionality.
- Assist in the implementation and integration of new BMS technologies and upgrades.
- Train and support building staff in the use and operation of BMS systems.
- Ensure all BMS operations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in BMS operations or a related role in facilities management.
Proficient in the operation of BMS software and hardware. Strong understanding of building systems including HVAC electrical and plumbing.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
High level of precision in monitoring and maintaining BMS systems.
Familiarity with the latest BMS technologies and tools.
Knowledge of energy management principles and techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a similar industry. Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant tools. Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
