Legal Counsel Part Time

We are looking for a parttime Legal Counsel in Europe to join our mission to eliminate waiting and improve customer journeys.

The ideal candidate is excited to work for astartup and managing all legal situations that arise when building innovative products working with exciting customers andmoving fast.They should be comfortablehandlingthe entire lifecycle of global SaaS agreements including negotiation drafting and closing andensuring great communication with all stakeholders and compliance with legal standards.

This position is based in Stockholm at our beautiful bright offices on Kungsgatan 32. Were a hybrid remote company and prefer that you work from the office at least 1 day per week alongside our team.

What youll be doing

• Legal and Compliance: Provide legal counsel and compliance guidance for our operations in Sweden and United States. Ensure that the company operates in compliance with applicable laws regulations and industry standards.
• Contract Review: Review draft and negotiate various contracts agreements and legal documents.
• Commercial Deals:Help our Sales team close deals fasterby providing effective legal counselnegotiating with customers mitigating risks and managing all stakeholders in the deal process.
• Intellectual Property:Provide basic advice on IPmatters including licensing and trademark issues and manage necessaryexternal advisors.
• Corporate Governance:Assist with basic corporate governance matters.
• Point of contact:Youre the contact person for all internal and external legal matters.
• Stay Current:Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure companys practices are compliant.

Note: We envision this role to be 2550% fulltime but open to explore more flexibility in working hours.

What skills you need

• Studied law at university with at least3 years work experience inhouse and/or law firm
• Proven track record of managing and closing complex SaaS deals SLA negotiation and information security.
• General knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR CCPA HIPAA) and implementing compliance strategies.
• Understanding of intellectual property law and information security clauses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
