Mandatory Skills: Agile, Data Architecture, Oracle, PLSQL, SQL Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Oracle databases and experience in Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development, with a focus on database performance tuning and data model designing. Hands-on experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica, and familiarity with BigData technologies are advantageous. The role requires a proactive individual capable of contributing to agile projects with a keen emphasis on data security and integrity. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain database solutions in Oracle 11g and 12c environments. • Design, develop, and optimize SQL & PL/SQL modules including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. • Conduct performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code to enhance application efficiency. • Design and implement data models using Entity-Relationship diagrams, ensuring data security and integrity. • Utilize ETL tools, particularly Informatica, to extract, transform, and load data between various systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions into agile projects. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in BigData for potential integration and optimization. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Oracle database development. • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming, with expertise in developing complex database objects. • Experience in performance tuning at the database level to optimize query performance. • Solid understanding of data modeling principles and methodologies (Entity-Relationship diagrams). • Hands-on experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica. • Familiarity with BigData technologies is considered a plus. • Ability to work effectively in Agile methodology environments. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications • Certification in Oracle database administration or development. • Experience with Azure data services or cloud-based data solutions. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies. • Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
