Full Stack Developer

Rate: $70/hr. C2C

Conversion salary: $154900
Location: Remote during contract period candidates MUST reside in DMVWV area. Once a month onsite visit in Reston VA once converted.
Duration: 12 months contracttohire

Summary: CareFirst is looking for a Full Stack Developer to support the Blue Web Team on Angular development and Java backend development web service integrations and deployment to AWS cloud (Blue Web will be deployed to AWS next year). This resource will also be working with the DevOps team and will be doing 80% development and 20% leading team members that are working mostly on the frontend side. The percentage of backend vs. frontend development is 50/50.

Required Experience:

• 7 years of full stack development using Angular 12 and Java programming languages.
• Spring Core Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Batch experience
• REST and SOAP API web service development experience
• Experience deploying applications in AWS EC2.
• Experience leading/coaching/mentoring junior developers.

Nice to have:

• Sonar scanning tool experience
• CI/CD experience
• Cloud technology experience (Ideally supporting a cloud migration to AWS)
• SQL server or PostgreSQL experience
