Job Title: Senior Design Lead (Mech) Industrial Automation

Location: Markle IN (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Looking for a seasoned engineering leader with a proven track record in the Delivery of projects in the design & and simulation of Manufacturing lines
• Lead the design development and implementation of lean manufacturing systems that reduce waste increase throughput and shorten lead times.
• Lead the development and implementation of job/workstation designs with focus on ergonomics and operator satisfaction.
• Lead the application of tooling equipment automation robotics and material handling systems that improve safety quality and cost.
• Assist the Lead the development and maintenance of standard engineering data layouts process flow diagrams capacity charts time studies productivity metrics etc.
• Support capacity planning and changes in plant product allocation.
• Partner with Product Development and Design Engineering to identify opportunities for Design for Manufacturing.
• Assist in other areas and perform other duties as needed. (This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of activities duties or responsibilities required for this job.)
• Expertlevel knowledge of Manufacturing Processes cycle time calculation Ergonomics FMEA DFM DFA and throughput calculation.
• Capable of Design calculation and Selection of Purchased parts; e.g. Pneumatic actuators sensors Rail and Carriage Motors etc.
• Awareness in Process Planning layout plan CAD and simulation of discreet events.
• Hands on using of SolidWorks AutoCAD Inventor
• Clientfacing role for project coordination & technical selling
• Effective documentation skills capturing MOM project Tracker and Dashboard with Customer.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred or a related field with relevant experience or
• demonstrated skills and abilities.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and other engineering software (AutoCAD
• Inventor preferred).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as presentation skills.
• Highly motivated and deeply responsible.
• Min 10 years of relevant experience
• Min 5 years of client management experience.
