job status: Accepting Candidates Job: Registered Nurse for MedSurg Unit MSU for adult geriatrics and pediatric patients. EXCELLENT Staffing Ratios: Non Covid: typically 4:1 max 5:1. Covid patients: typically 2:1 max 3:1.Required Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS. PALS is preferredExperience: Three 3 years of medsurg experience 1 year pediatric experience preferred MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH BOTH ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS. Setting: 20 bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics Shift: 12 hour shifts Days or Nights must be flexible. In addition to inpatient may be assigned to help cover Covid testing clinics and/or Flu Immunization clinics as needed. Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings.Housing: Information can be found under the Facility Group Document section. Orientation: on Mondays only If your traveler misses the compliance deadline they will be pushed to the following scheduled New Employee Orientation.

Other: Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be taskoriented such as answering call lights phones etc
