Job Title: Exterior Trim Launch Engineer

Location: Casa Grande AZ

Job Description:

• Launch support of automotive exterior component parts in manufacturing plant
• Excellent product knowledge of Exterior trim components (Bumper Cladding Spoiler Door exterior trim Front Grill Garnish Mudguard Emblem )
• Check the quality of components and identify defects if any
• Find the root cause of product issues and provide temporary countermeasure
• Work with cross functional team in the plant to find a permanent solution / design fix for ongoing issues
• Create a CAD proposal in Catia V5 and conduct change management
• Collaborate with key exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and production build events
• Responsible for technical documentation to include DFMEAs DVP&Rs Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior / bumper components and subsystem
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies
• Perform feasibility and packaging study
• Indepth knowledge of Plastic tooling
