Account Manager

CK Group are recruiting for an Account Manager to join a chemical company in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis.


The Company:

Our client is a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of pigments. They have a client base nationwide and globally.


Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Stoke-on-Trent and you will be required to attend site once per week. For the rest of the week you will be home based but travelling almost daily to client sites across the South of the UK.


Salary:

Our client is advertising 30.000- 40.000 per annum. A company car is provided for travel and mileage is re-imbursed every fortnight.


Account Manager Role:

Your main duties will be:

• To maintain and increase revenue within the southern territory.
• To be the sole point of contact for all sales and technical enquiries.
• Proactively engaging existing and new clients to maintain and improve client relationships and increase revenue.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A degree level education in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science or a similar subject.
• Excellent understanding of industrial applications and technology.
• Prior experience in a sales or customer service environment.
• Great interpersonal skills alongside a great work ethic.
