Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and treatment to patients during night shifts
• Monitor and attend to patients admitted to the hospital during the night
• Coordinate with the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient comfort and wellbeing
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate treatment and stabilization
• Conduct regular rounds to assess patients health status and address any concerns
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician
• Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate effectively with the medical team and other departments
• Assist in the implementation of hospital policies and procedures
• Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in healthcare delivery
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance medical knowledge and skills
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior medical staff when required
• Participate in regular meetings and clinical case discussions

Required Qualifications:

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
• Valid medical license to practice in Delhi
• Prior experience in a similar role preferably in an emergency or critical care setting
• Sound knowledge of medical practices procedures and protocols
• Ability to work efficiently and make critical decisions during night shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases simultaneously
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• Willingness to undergo additional training and professional development
• Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
