Job Description:

We are seeking a detailoriented and highly organized PartTime Remote Accountant to handle our bookkeeping needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and a good understanding of financial practices and regulations in Germany.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices correctly on a biweekly basis and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Ensure timely and accurate for monthend and yearend close processes
• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline accounting processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Flag inconsistencies in invoicing and reporting
• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Requirements

Qualification in Accounting Finance or a related field is preferred.

Experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferably in a tech company

Excellent communication skills in both English and German

Familiarity with German accounting standards and regulations

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Datev Xero or similar)

Strong understanding of financial principles and bookkeeping practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Ability to work independently and remotely managing time effectively.
