Job description: Job Purpose
This Position exists to perfrom electrical engineering tasks efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments
Key Accountability Areas
Planning and Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet assigned the operational targets as per delivery schedules.
- Use resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Reporting:
- Generating reports and presenting information to upper-level managers or other parties
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
- Analyzing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential engineering projects and studies.
Financial:
- Monitoring and suggesting solutions to control expenses and budgets to achieve the cost efficiency.
- Estimating material, labor costs
Risk Mitigation:
- Anticipate problems and suggest the necessary proactive steps to prevent them.
Adaptation:
- Seek alternative technologies, and forms of communication.
- Analyzing the specifications for purchases of equipment and materials.
HR Proficiency:
- Functioning effectively on a team, provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives
Problem Solving.
- Recommend solutions related to problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
- Maintaining equipment
- Conducting appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions
Quality:
- Observe quality requirements to develop effective quality control processes for related activities.
- Report any quality finding as per applied policies and procedures
Systems:
- Acknowledge written systems, policies, procedures, and recommend automations opportunities as much as possible from engineering perspective.
Policy and Procedures:
- Ensuring compliance with specifications codes, by coordinating, manufacturing, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
HSE:
- Report any finding or hazard of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Decisions Making:
- Recommending proper solutions that comes in proper cost.
Development:
- Reflect the academic knowledge on practical work environment by making a tangible positive accomplishment in the results of work and department
- Performing a wide range of detailed calculations to analysis manufacturing standards
- Identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics
- Applying knowledge of probability and statistics to applications in engineering
