Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and organizing all service center operations to ensure high-quality service delivery to customers while achieving productivity and profitability goals. This role involves managing a team, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and materials, and developing strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
- Supervise all maintenance and repair activities in the center.
- Ensure adherence to preventive and emergency maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all equipment and tools used in maintenance are ready and available.
Team Management:
- Hire, train, and develop technical and administrative staff.
- Motivate the team to achieve optimal performance.
- Evaluate employee performance and develop plans for improvement.
Planning and Organization:
- Develop work plans and schedules to achieve center goals.
- Organize resources necessary for efficient maintenance operations.
Customer Service:
- Ensure excellent customer service and effectively handle complaints and inquiries.
- Communicate with customers to provide advice and recommendations regarding maintenance.
Financial Control:
- Prepare and monitor the service center's budget and financial reports.
- Manage costs and expenses to ensure targeted profitability.
- Work on increasing revenues through additional services and special offers.
Compliance and Quality:
- Ensure adherence to technical, health, and safety standards and regulations.
- Implement quality assurance procedures and continuously improve processes.
Spare Parts Management:
- Ensure proper knowledge of spare parts and manage inventory effectively.
- Handle procedures for ordering spare parts from the manufacturer and ensuring their timely delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in motorcycle maintenance.
- Propose and implement improvements to maintenance operations and services.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in motorcycle maintenance, including 3 years in a managerial position.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate decisions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Deep knowledge of modern motorcycle systems and components.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in computer programs related to maintenance management and reporting.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
