ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior System Engineer in thededicated team at Qvantum you will play a crucial role in the continuous development of their advanced heat pump systems. Your primary focus will be on the heat pump system and the implementation aspects of the product ensuring it integrates seamlessly with various applications. You will lead and oversee different stages of product development maintaining a balance between all requirements while adhering to legislation regulations and industry standards. Your experience in similar roles will be invaluable as you provide technical expertise and support both internally and with external stakeholders to meet the customer expectations of Qvantum.
Your daytoday responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Lead the continuous technical development of heat pump systems focusing on implementation and application aspects.
- Dimension components conduct lab tests and develop verification plans to rapidly verify ideas.
- Analyze test results to ensure optimal system performance.
- Ensure that the systems meet customers needs and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the internal team.
- Collaborate closely with external component suppliers.
- Stay updated with industry standards as well as EU legislation and explore functional opportunities.
WHO ARE YOU
We are seeking a seasoned system engineering professional adept at navigating the complexities of product development and implementation at scale. You ideally have a comprehensive understanding of heating and cooling systems control mechanisms and regulatory standards. This role is tailormade for you who thrive in merging theoretical knowledge with practical application and is enthusiastic about steering technical aspects in the realm of heat pump development.
We are specifically looking for the following:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Physics Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in system engineering preferably in the implementation of heat pump technology within various applications such as building heating industrial processes and control systems.
- Deep expertise in refrigeration fluid mechanics thermodynamics and heat transfer preferably as applied to refrigeration circuits and systems.
- Knowledge in specification calculation design and testing of products and components in a massproduction setting.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal.
Personal competencies:
- Driven and proactive.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Appreciation for a dynamic organizational scaleup phase where flexibility and initiative are paramount.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Attention to detail and a longterm perspective.
- Ability to lead others in assignments or projects is a plus.
