الوصف الوظيفي
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join the team at a local department store. This is a permanent full time position and can include Saturdays. You will get two fays off per week.
As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods (mainly furniture) to customers. Your role will involve driving a van communicating with customers and ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties:
Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
Load and unload products from the vehicle
Follow delivery schedules and routes
Communicate with customers
Complete necessary paperwork such as delivery logs
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment
Requirements
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Excellent communication skills
Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
