Accounting Policy Specialist IFRS

Tasks

Responsible for the definition of internal capital reporting rules for which you keep abreast of external developments analyse impacts of new rules and define inhouse interpretations / Opportunity to analyse and to advise on capital and balance sheet implications of proposed equity and fixed income trades capital structures and new business transactions / Work with fixed income and equity structuring teams to design capital efficient structures / Intense interaction with Senior Management in Front Office and support areas of the finance and risk division /Opportunity to practice your presentation skills and ability to explain complex regulatory subject matters in training events internal road shows and regulatory update sessions /Act as contact for regulatory aspects of the IFRS conversion project and assist in impact assessments and implementation questions / Contribute to the relationship management with local regulators financial auditors external advisors and rating agencies / With additional experience you will represent company at industry working groups.

Requirements

Master or Bachelor / CPA or ACCA / Experience in regulatory reporting or policy interpretation provision of regulatory consultancy financial and regulatory audit or financial services supervision / Detailed knowledge of bank regulations with a focus on advanced internal rating based capital rules / Understanding of financial products and trading strategies / Firm knowledge of global accounting standards (USGAAP and IFRS) / Ability to analytically apply this knowledge in practice to complex transactions with attention to details / Effective and confident communication with senior management and front office / Robustness when confronted with pressure from Front Office.
