User Interface Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and creative User Interface (UI) Designer with a strong focus on designing for Arabic-speaking users to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Arabic culture, language, and user behavior, ensuring that our interfaces are visually appealing, intuitive, and culturally relevant.

Responsibilities:

1. Visual Design:

- Design visually stunning and culturally relevant user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

- Create design elements including icons, typography, and color schemes that resonate with Arabic-speaking users.

- Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and products, adhering to brand guidelines.

2. Prototyping:

- Develop high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.

- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing.

- Use tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar to create interactive prototypes.

3. Localization:

- Adapt existing designs to suit the linguistic and cultural needs of Arabic-speaking users.

- Ensure that right-to-left (RTL) text and layouts are correctly implemented and optimized for user experience.

4. User-Centered Design:

- Conduct user research to understand the preferences and behaviors of Arabic-speaking users.

- Apply insights from research to create user-friendly and culturally appropriate designs.

- Ensure that all UI elements meet accessibility standards and best practices.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.

- Deep understanding of Arabic culture, language, and user behavior.

- Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful and functional designs.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with some in-office and remote work.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.

- Fluency in Arabic and English.
