Sr Paralegal

Growing Law Firm in Los Angeles has a need for a Sr Paralegal. It is a direct hire role with a full benefits package.

This is a top performing law firm in Los Angeles is in search of a Litigation Paralegal with experience in civil and/or commercial litigation to join their growing team. This role will involve providing litigation and general administrative support to various attorneys within the Litigation Practice Group.

Key responsibilities include drafting pleadings correspondence and discovery materials as well as organizing and maintaining files. The role also involves filing documents with local state and federal courts scheduling and summarizing depositions and assisting with trial preparation. Additionally the candidate will review attorney billing manage revisions and calendaring of meetings and court dates schedule travel and handle general administrative duties. Qualifications for the role include 27 years of litigation experience with a preference for candidates holding a paralegal certificate. Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint is required with experience in ProLaw and NetDocs (or similar document management systems) being advantageous. Strong communication skills a commitment to customer service flexibility and initiative are essential along with excellent organization prioritization and proofreading/editing skills. The candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment involving extensive interaction with other attorneys paralegals and office staff.
