Job Description:

Electricians with Journeymans card or 7 years of direct electrician experience. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment NOT facilities maintenance. A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit. Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment in any industry (automotive preferred) Experience industrial maintenance electrical maintenance high voltage (medium voltage) 480V 120V down to 24volt DC circuitry. PLC experience Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important) AAM Three Rivers is a CNC Machining facility so having CNC experience would be preferred. Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred. Please note if candidates were heavier on PLCs and lighter on CNCs or vice versa it would be fine.

• Troubleshooting can range from troubleshooting proximity switches light screens and safety circuits cables ethernet and communication issues motors drives relays etc.

Experience Preferred

• Automotive industry experience preferred Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred.

Additional Information

With $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a direct hire role. Shifts: New employees can expect to begin on 2nd or 3rd shift. (2nd shift: 2PM 10PM; 3rd shift: 10PM 6AM) Overtime: The union contract allows AAM to mandate 2/3 Saturdays a month. Overtime schedules are posted every Thursday and works on a rotational basis. Overtime Pay: Over 40 hours and Saturdays are 1.5x hourly pay; Sunday and holidays are paid 2x hourly pay.
