Renewable Exchange

Renewable Exchange is a market leader in providing insights and delivering value to managers of renewable energy projects. Everything we do is designed to increase the transparency simplicity and efficiency of the renewable energy sector in the journey towards netzero.

Our online power purchase agreement (PPA) platform is the cornerstone of our offering in the UK and were currently active in Germany and expanding into more international markets. We add value to our clients while ensuring that we take an ethical clientfirst approach to everything we do.

Role

As Commercial Director at Renewable Exchange you will be repsonsible for shaping and executing the UK commercial strategy. This newly created role comes at an exciting time following a successful period of growth and offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

Candidates should be based near Bristol or London. Our HQ is in Bristol so candidates should be availble to spend at least 2 days per week in this office with the UK commercial team.

Tasks

What youll be doing at Renewable Exchange:

  • Develop together with the senior leadership team the UK commercial strategy for 3 rolling years ahead period
  • Scope develop and bring to market new products and services to make a material impact to gross margin
  • Deliver the commercial strategy taking full ownership for sales and marketing KPIs
  • Recruit nurture and develop a team of commercial superstars
  • Understand market conditions and industry trends to inform commercial and product strategy
  • Contribute wholistically to the wider Renewable Exchange team ensuring that commercial requirements are seamlessly communicated and understood across the entire organisation

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Experience setting commercial strategy leading sales teams and developing Clevel customer relationships
  • At least 2 years leading a sales team function and 10 years of commercial experience
  • Experience creating commercial frameworks and contracts
