Position: Network Monitoring Platform Engineer Level 1

Location: 100% Remote Role
Duration: Contract Long Term

Job Description:

Our client Company is partnered with Peraton on the Network Infrastructure Support Services (NISS) contract in which the Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking all necessary personnel to provide network support services to support Engineering Integration and deployment and Incidental network infrastructure task services.

Requirements:

• At level one (1) Network Monitoring Platform Engineers shall have the following (a b c d and e):
• Active VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA) or higher certification
• Active Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or higher certification.
• A minimum of five (5) years experience administering VMware ESX hypervisor and vCenter Red Hat Virtualization RedHat Enterprise Linux and RedHat Satellite in a large enterprise
• A minimum of three (3) years building servers installing server hardware cards and other components software packages and performing firmware updates
• e. A minimum of three (3) years experience configuring systems to provide networking services including File Transfer Protocol (FTP) network file system (NFS) server message block (SMB) Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) secure shell (SSH) Domain Name Services (DNS) and Network Time Protocol (NTP)
