Notes:

• Gender: female (obligatory)
• Female students or graduates of medical schools to work in shifts.
• Operation hours: 6am 4am PST 3 different shifts (preference to night shift)
• Prefer Locals.

Description:

• We are seeking a lab technician/operator to support our Neurosense data collection team in Northridge CA.
• A successful candidate will be able to collect high quality neuroimaging bio signal and video data in a lab car simulator and in vehicle.
• In addition a successful candidate will also be able to understand and communicate how to improve this process.
• This person will work closely with engineers and technical support to execute complex experiments that will shape the future of human driving experiences.

The basic qualifications for this role are:

• Background in Psychology Neuroscience Biology Medical or Nursing.
• Experience with operating complex research equipment according to a protocol such as EEG/fMRI/fNIRS/MEG/ECG.
• Scientific mindset with a culture of conducting human subject experiments.
• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of following detailed instructions and communicating issues to supporting team members.
• Welldeveloped soft skills ability to effectively interact with people.
• Ability to complete tasks with both urgency and quality to meet deadlines/goals.
• Ability to communicate efficiently clearly and reliably with direct and supporting team members.
• Ability to stay on task and direct diverse participants on task instructions.
• General knowledge of PC: basic understanding of operating systems ability for basic troubleshooting at high level ability to explain problems to tech support.

Nice to have:

• 2 years of handson experience in a research lab.
• Experience collecting human neuroimaging and sensor data.
• Experience with research protocol development and improvement.
