Job Summary:
The English Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of English language courses tailored to the needs of our employees. This includes both intensive and regular courses designed to improve proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development and a proven track record of teaching English to diverse groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement English language curriculums for various proficiency levels.
- Conduct needs assessments to determine the language training requirements of employees.
- Deliver engaging and interactive English language courses, both intensive and regular.
- Create and utilise instructional materials and resources that cater to different learning styles.
- Assess and monitor employee progress through tests, assignments, and feedback.
- Provide one-on-one support and tutoring to employees as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in language education and incorporate best practices into the curriculum.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, seminars, and other learning activities to enhance language skills.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, progress, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience teaching English as a second language, preferably in a corporate or adult education setting is a plus.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in both English & Arabic (French is a plus)
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners.
