Your key responsibilities
- Receiving and handling all Labatec journal entries for MENA region on the accounting system after entering them as P.O entries.
- Ensure proper document management, namely reception, classification, posting and validation of accounting invoices and payments.
- Perform accounting transactions in the general ledger in accordance with statutory and Group policies.
- Keep accounting control documents organized following policies and procedures and complying with financial legal requirements.
- Create and maintain Master data suppliers according to the Group policies.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist in month/year-end closing activities.
- Ad hoc projects
- Maintains and monitors accounts receivables and payables and records all transactions.
- Prepares statements for internal and external audit reviews, and coordinate with auditors.
- Maintains records of routine accounting transactions.
- Assists Chief Accountant as required.
We are looking for
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related areas.
- Minimum 1 year experience in accounting services or related industry
- Solid Accounting knowledge
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent spoken and written English Language.
- Excellent time management skills

- Experience with SAGE X3 is a plus.
- Knowledge of Jordan's tax law is a plus.
