Position Overview:
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Payroll Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for our diverse client base. This role requires meticulous attention to detail excellent organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time including regular overtime and special payments.
- Verify and enter employee data including hours worked deductions and other payrollrelated information.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Handle payrollrelated inquiries from clients and employees providing timely and accurate information.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and update payroll records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll functions.
- Assist with yearend processes including W2 preparation and distribution.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. ADP Paychex QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain payroll concepts to clients and employees clearly.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
