The client is looking for a Database Developer for Pittsbrugh PA or Lake Mary FL locations:

• Oracle Exadata
• 1 Strong PL/SQL coding skills
  Need to be able to optimize tune and troubleshoot SQL code
• Oracle packages to support the transformation and load of data into the data model
• Continuation of existing refactoring of components
• Object optimization is a plus
• Incremental development
• 510 years of experience in total

Responsible for determining systems requirements for new or modified database application programs creating the system specifications and Is responsible for developing testing and implementing efficient costeffective application solutions. Will receive general direction from the Manager and work closely with business analysts to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. May coordinate the activities of the section with the client area and other IT sections (e.g. database operations technical support). A good fundamental database developer who can work in conjunction with the data architect/modeler on the data warehouse reporting solution. Possess expertise in writing and tuning SQL queries view stored procedures and functions. Experience interpreting data models and developing database structures; using standard diagramming techniques to design and develop computer data models; and implementing and troubleshooting programming changes and modifications.

Ability to work within a team and lead database efforts and to document customer requirements translate into technical designs and explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and nontechnical audiences. Strong problemsolving and interpersonal skills as well as strong written and oral communications skills and demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Prepares deliverables such as source to target mappings and transformation rules documentation.


510 years of DB development experience across Oracle and SQL Server space
Strong handson experience in in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development in 11g and 12c environments
Analyze user requirements and translate into database requirements and implement in database code
Knowledge in writing packages/procedures
Create and maintain SQL queries and routines work with complex data models and object relational database mapping while producing complex reports
Oracle Database Developer responsible for maintaining and supporting database features developing IT management solutions
No financial services experience required

1 Infrastructure management space previous experience with hardware software virtual servers etc. is a big plus

2 Oracle packages to support transformation and load of data into data model

2 Experience in any data center infrastructure management solutions is a huge plus (Nlyte Sunbird)

3 Database modeling (creating tables indexes primary keys relationship between tables)

3 Excellent communication skills
