Job Title: Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer

Location: Channelview Texas

Job Description:

• Bs degree with 9 years experience support for fabricating of structural piping and electrical components
• Design & Implement experience in tooling and material handling equipment
• Design and build Welding Fixtures Material Handling equipment for production troubleshooting to perform maintenance and repair of production equipment and fixtures
• Develop design guidelines and scheduling to promote standardization
• Identify productivity and ensures design and implementation
• Work with crossfunctional teams involving Manufacturing Project management and fabrication to reduce cost and fabrication
• Maintaining Shop & Site Coordination
• Material handling MBOM
• Perform Project risk assessments to resolve future risks and improve the success rate and commercials
• Set up the standard operating procedures and standards and reduce safety and ergonomic risks
• Material Handling Equipment like Storage Racks Carts are built to reduce Inventory Space and to Implement Just in Time & follow Lean Manufacturing Techniques
• Work with the Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams to ensure a thorough Productive Maintenance for shop floor equipment

Prefered:

• Experience in the fabrication industry in heavy fabrication manufacturing & Oil and Gas industry
• Knowledge of LEAN principles structural piping electrical BOMs and process instructions
• Experience in Creo and AutoCAD / Plant 3D / OTHER
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Perform work within guidelines for EH&S and Ethics
• Experience designing and/or building Welding fixtures.
