Product Design Internship - Uvera

We are seeking a Product Designer with a passion for transforming cuttingedge ideas into tangible solutions. In this pivotal role you will be essential to the design development and optimization of our hardware products. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the mechanical integrity reliability and manufacturability of our innovative products. Requirements

• Engage in the product design process from concept to production utilizing CAD software and other designing tools to create detailed drawings and specifications.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve product designs.
• Generate technical documentation including detailed drawings specifications and documentation for manufacturing assembly.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to coordinate production activities and ensure smooth transition from prototyping to mass production.
• Stay updated on design trends emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Product Design Industrial Design or related field. Masters degree preferred.

• Knowing well in product design with a good portfolio showcasing a range of projects and design solutions.
• Strong understanding of design principles methodologies and processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Adobe Creative Suite SolidWorks Fusion 360 AutoCAD to develop 3D models and technical drawings.
• Ability to work with prototyping and fabrication machines such as CNC laser cut and other handling tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skill with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
