The Opportunity: Systems Architect
This is a pivotal role where your expertise in mixedsignal IC design and architecture will drive the development of nextgeneration solutions for mobile and consumer electronics markets. The Opportunity: Systems Architect
This is a pivotal role where your expertise in mixedsignal IC design and architecture will drive the development of nextgeneration solutions for mobile and consumer electronics markets. You'll collaborate with tier 1 customers marketing design software and applications teams to define system requirements perform tradeoff analyses and establish architectures for complex IC/SoC designs. Your technical leadership and domain expertise in analog and mixedsignal (AMS) technologies will be essential in shaping the company's future product roadmap.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and architect nextgeneration mixedsignal solutions.
- Generate detailed system and performance requirements for IC and software features.
- Conduct hardware/software tradeoff analysis to determine optimal system implementation.
- Establish architecture definitions for complex IC/SoC designs including various converters amplifiers drivers and digital signal processors.
- Lead architecture reviews and participate in IClevel and boardlevel design reviews.
- Drive AMS domain expertise within the System Architecture team serving as a technical authority for the company.
- Collaborate with design engineering advanced technology and IP teams on novel solutions.
- Contribute significantly to business planning around AMS technology.
- Communicate technical ideas and specifications to internal and external audiences.
- Represent the customer's technical voice in portfolio planning and product development processes.
- Understand customer architectures roadmaps and market trends to propose optimal technical solutions.
Your Expertise:
- BSEE/MSEE and 5 years of experience designing mixedsignal ICs with a minimum of 2 years in IC architectural decisions.
- Significant experience in architecting specifying and designing lowpower mixedsignal components for portable electronics.
- Good knowledge of analog and mixedsignal IC design techniques.
- Broad systemlevel knowledge across the mobile application space.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
