Manager Baggage and PLB Operations - Qatar Airways

• Provide leadership for the airport baggage related services (such as baggage tubs circulation operations gate baggage collection operations and the baggage handling and Baggage Handling System (BHS) operations) Passenger Loading Bridge (PLB) and Bridge Mounted Equipment (BME) services (such as Ground Power Unit (GPU) and Preconditioned Air (PCA) operations) at Hamad International Airport.
• Ensure that processes are improved through efficient operations and ensure a safe effective and timely airport operation in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Set KPI and service level agreement for the baggage handling operations and the operations of PLB and all Bridge Mounted Equipment Fixed GPU and Fixed PCA.
• Be the Champion for One Team value and promote teamwork and cooperation with stakeholder for the highest level of Customer Satisfaction.
• Ensure that processes are improved through efficient operations and ensure a safe effective and timely airport operations in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

About you:

• Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelors level or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in aviation industry.
• Relevant experience in the operations of 10000 BPH or larger BHS with inline HBSS and automatic sortation system.
• Relevant experience in 24x7 Airport Operations Control Center.
• Relevant experience in the operations of PLB 400Hz and PCA.
