Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting consultations and examinations of patients to assess their reproductive health.
• Diagnosing and treating medical conditions and diseases related to the reproductive system.
• Performing surgeries and procedures such as hysterectomies laparoscopies and cesarean sections.
• Providing prenatal care and overseeing childbirth including managing complications.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds mammograms and blood tests.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans including medication prescriptions and lifestyle recommendations.
• Advising patients on contraceptive methods fertility issues and menopausal management.
• Collaborating with other medical professionals for interdisciplinary patient care.
• Keeping detailed patient records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Participating in medical research publications and staying updated on advancements in gynecological care.
• Educating patients on reproductive health wellness and preventive care practices.
• Participating in community outreach programs and workshops to raise awareness about womens health a
• issues.
• Supervising and mentoring medical staff including resident doctors and nurses.

Required Qualifications

• MD DNB or MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from an accredited medical institution.
• Valid state medical license and board certification in Gynecology.
• Proven experience as a Gynecologist Consultant preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Proficiency in performing gynecological surgeries and procedures with precision and care.
• Sound knowledge of womens reproductive health obstetrics and gynecological conditions.
• Excellent diagnostic and decisionmaking skills to provide accurate and timely treatment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• Empathy compassion and sensitivity towards womens healthcare needs and concerns.
• Capability to work effectively in a fastpaced highpressure healthcare environment.
