Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures including Xrays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds
• Collaborating with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and provide accurate diagnostic reports
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards in imaging procedures
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and contribute to treatment planning
• Adhering to ethical and professional standards in patient care and communication
• Contributing to the improvement of imaging techniques and protocols
• Assisting in the supervision and training of radiology technologists and support staff
• Managing and maintaining accurate patient records and imaging reports
• Staying updated with advancements in diagnostic imaging technology and practices
• Providing consultation and guidance to healthcare providers on appropriate imaging modalities

Required Qualifications:

• MD in Radiology from a recognized institution
• DNB (Diplomate of National Board) certification in Radiology
• DMRD (Diploma in Medical RadioDiagnosis) qualification
• Valid medical license and registration to practice as a Radiologist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Capability to adapt to flexible work schedules and oncall duties
