Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach medical students in the field of community medicine and public health.
• Conduct and publish research in the area of community medicine.
• Provide clinical practice guidance to medical students and residents.
• Participate in community health outreach and initiatives.
• Mentor and advise medical students and residents.
• Lead and contribute to community health programs and policy development.
• Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary research projects.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.
• Stay updated with advancements in the field of community medicine and public health.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification in Community Medicine or Public Health.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in community medicine or public health.
• Proven track record of research and publications in peerreviewed journals.
• Experience in teaching medical students and residents.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of community health programs and policy development.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
• Understanding of healthcare disparities and social determinants of health.
